Chapter 2952: The Two Thousand Two Hundred and Twenty-First Echo: The Beginning of Its Own Will

The single, perfect leaf of light and sound, born from the merged senses of the two beings, did not remain static. It detached itself from the point of its creation and began to drift through the conceptual world. It was not carried by any wind, for there was none, but by its own internal imperative, a silent, unseen force that was the beginning of its own will.

As it traveled, it pulsed with a soft, internal light, a rhythmic beat that was its own unique heart. It was the world’s first naturally-born creation, and it was now beginning its own cycle, independent of the stewards’ will. The leaf was not merely an object, but a life, and its journey was the first verse of a new song, a song the world was composing for itself.
